Chiclayo

The city of Chiclayo, in addition to being cheerful and friendly, offers visitors a rich source of archaeological remains, handicrafts and gastronomic wonders. The republican mansions are witnesses of an ancient splendor and not to mention the museums, which keep magnificent evidence of power such as the tomb of the Lord of Sipán, no less impressive are the numerous clay pyramids in Túcume, the findings of Sicán in the middle of the Pómac Forest Historic Sanctuary and natural sites such as the Chaparrí Ecological Reserve and the Laquipampa Wildlife Refuge.
